Pre & Post Care

Lash Lift

Aftercare

  • Patience is Key: Allow 24 hours for your lashes to fully set before engaging in any activities that may affect their shape.

  • Handle with Care: Avoid using harsh products on your lashes and resist the urge to rub, pull, or pick at them.

  • Stay Steam-Free: Steer clear of steam rooms and saunas for the first 24 hours post-treatment to maintain the lift.

  • Gentle on the Eyes: Refrain from applying eye makeup for the initial 24 hours to ensure the longevity of your lash lift.

  • Keep them Dry: Resist the temptation to swim or wet your lashes for the first day after the treatment.

  • Say No to Waterproof: Say goodbye to waterproof mascara for the entire duration of your lash lift, as it may compromise the results.

Spray Tan

Preparation

  • Prep is Key: Exfoliate your skin 6-24 hours before your tan to ensure a smooth and even application.

  • Timing Matters: Schedule any hair removal (waxing or shaving) 24-48 hours prior to your tan for optimal results.

  • Wear Comfort: Bring a loose dress or outfit to wear after your tan to avoid any rubbing or smudging.

  • Au Naturel: Arrive at your appointment without moisturiser, deodorant, or makeup to achieve the best tan absorption.

Aftercare

  • Gentle Rinse: Use water only for your first shower after the tan, waiting until the water runs clear off your body.

  • Avoid the Fades: Steer clear of retinols, face masks, face strips, microdermabrasions, and products containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, AHA's, or BHA's, as these may cause the tan to fade.

  • Mind Your Wash: Choose body washes that are not highly fragranced, foaming, or extra creamy.

  • Hydration is Key: Keep your skin and tan looking fabulous by moisturising or using a tan extender regularly. This will help maintain a healthy, hydrated glow.

Make Up

Preparation

Prepping your skin is the essential foundation for achieving a flawless and enduring makeup look. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure your skin is ready for a seamless makeup application:

  1. Cleanse: Begin with a fresh canvas. Use a mild cleanser to eliminate any dirt, oil, and impurities from your face. This initial step is crucial for establishing a clean and even surface, providing the perfect groundwork for makeup application.

  2. Exfoliate: Enhance skin texture by incorporating a gentle exfoliator into your routine. This step aids in the removal of dead skin cells, promoting a smoother canvas for makeup. Exercise caution not to over-exfoliate, as this may lead to skin irritation.

  3. Moisturise: Nourish your skin with an appropriate moisturiser tailored to your skin type. Even if you have oily skin, opt for a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser to ensure a well-hydrated base for makeup. This vital step not only supports a smooth application but also contributes to the overall longevity of your makeup.
